Prototypes for Billboards

A-Z Billboard Series is an ongoing series developed out of an interest in advertising, design and "illustration." This painted billboard series depicts intimate and detailed interiors from Zittel's home with overarching questions of 'How To Live?' Inspired by the the essays of Michel de Montaigne, who’s life’s writings comprise a massive volume of evolving essays and anecdotes on all the nuances of day-to-day living. Zittel similarly asks how to live but formulates these questions in accordance to her own personal experiences specific to her own culture and time.
