A-Z Comfort Unit for the Cincinnati Museum

The A-Z Comfort Unit for the Cincinnati Museum was a commissioned version of Zittel’s standard Comfort Unit. The unit featured a large, fort-like bed with rolling service carts for different functions such as eating, office work and a vanity cart. One could perform all of the day’s tasks without ever leaving the security and comfort of bed. For the Cincinnati commission the service carts were customized with selected works from the Museum’s decorative Arts Collection.
