A-Z Warm and Cool Chambers

1993

When comparing human to animal physiology, one may be reminded of the fragility of the human body, and how dependent humans are on our architecture and clothing. The Warm and Cool Chambers were a response to living in a very large space that became unbearably hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Because it wasn’t possible to control the larger environment, these small but comfortable chambers were created with built in heating and cooling elements to be used to protect and comfort the body.
