Rules of Raugh
1998
"Raugh" is a comprehensive ideology relating to objects and their usage. The primary questions addressed in Rules of Raugh range between the relationship of humans to notions such as wear, obsolescence, adaptability, ease, progress, and expertise. Raugh, pronounced “raw,” does not necessarily mean raw. While "raw" suggests a more natural or original state, "Raugh" describes the way that something becomes "undone" over time and as the result of repeated lived experience.
