Studies for Planar Panels

Studies for Planar Panels are ostensibly studies for Zittel’s Planar Panel weaving series – however they also recycle drawings and designs originally constructed for large scale sculptural works such as the Planar Pavilions and Planar Configurations. The black lines define spacial divisions, visual and formal, or the more bodily compartmentalization in the sculptural works.
